Youth, Children and Families
Youth, children and families are a very important part of our ministry at St. Peter’s Kineton. This ministry is brought about by the clergy supported by a large team of enthusiastic volunteers, all of whom are DBS checked and leaders are safeguarding trained. All ensuring that we place the children and youth in a safe environment.
Below are the activities that fall under youth, children and families:
For 0-5 year olds and their grown ups. Meet on Wednesdays, 9.00-10.30am, Kineton Methodist Church Hall. Singing, stories and fun for parents & children aged 0-preschool. Details: Alex Williams – email@example.com
Puppets on the Rock

Mini Quest and Quest
Mini Quest and Quest are lunchtime clubs for children in Year 3-6 at Kineton Primary School. We hear some Bible stories, make crafts, play games, do drama, learn new songs and pray together.
Simply Messey is for families on 3rd Sunday’s from 4-6pm in Kineton Primary School. We make crafts, play games, enjoy food together and learn more about God and the Bible. Contact Sarah Jackson email@example.com
Simply Sweaty is a relaxed and informal church with a warm welcome for the whole family with:
- Construction challenges
- enjoy being together
- compete together
- eat together
- celebrate God together
4:00 – 5:00pm Construction challenges and games based on as theme
5:00 – 5:15pm Celebration (exploring the theme of the activities)
5:15 – 5:30pm Time to chat over a hot meal
Thrive is a fortnightly group for 9-12 year olds on 1st and 3rd Sunday evenings from 6-7.30pm in St Peters. We think about faith, we build and make things, we enjoy listening to music and reflecting on the lyrics and we think about how God and the Bible are relevant today. Tales from the Rock
St. Peter’s Player’s go into Kineton Primary School 6 times per term to act out stories from the bible mainly written by Ann Saxton. The assembly session is known as Tales from the Rock, the team is six strong, but if you wish to be involved contact Ann Saxton 01295 680645.
Holiday Bible Club
Holiday Bible Club in 2018 we ran a three day club at Kineton Primary School that year it was Scripture Unions “Mission Rescue” an action packed three days, full of craft activities, games, stories and helping to solve the nission rescue.
We have not yet set the date for the 2019 Holiday Bible Club but be sure to follow church notices etc. since places are limited for primary aged children.
Salt is a weekly challenge to young people on Social Justice issues that Barry Jackson leads.
